David Kenneth Easlick, Jr. was born to Lucy Barnwell Easlick and David Kenneth Easlick at 3:00 pm on July 23, 1947 at Garfield Memorial Hospital in Washington DC. I was unnamed for a couple of days while a decision was made that affected a great deal in my life. My mother finally gave in to my father. I could be David, Jr. as long as I could be called "Deke".
